In the dragon era, with the fall of the first bonfire, the everlasting dragons were wiped off by the Sunstrider.
A thousand years later, the Scholar of Dragon revived the everlasting dragon with the soul of the Giant. Dragon scales were made into dragon axes by the Scholar’s Guards in order to protect the Hall of Dragon and the Dragon Altar.
The door of the Dragon Altar was closed ever since, and all connections with the world were stopped. Within the House of Dragon, the Scholar of Dragon evaded all disturbances to continue his research and he eventually transcended the cycles and achieved eternity. His guards and the everlasting dragon remained the guardian of the Dragon Altar in the years after.
“The roar of thunder and lightning in the sky, the fallen dragon”. The shattered words from ancient myth seemed to be implying the dragon-hunting skills…
